Notice of update to the Beam Park Planning Permission

25th March 2026

Dear Resident,

Notice of update to the Beam Park Planning Permission

We are writing to you because you are a resident at Beam Park and there is an obligation for Countryside Partnerships and L&Q to make you aware of any formal planning changes on the development.

We want to let you know that Countryside Partnerships will shortly be submitting a S73 application to vary the Beam Park Planning Permission in relation to the multi-faith and leisure locations in Phase A at Beam Park.

We are proposing to move the multi-faith space from the ground floor of Orion House to the ground floor of Verona House. The leisure space will then move from Verona House to Orion House. This change follows an extensive procurement process by L&Q. They were unable to secure an operator for the multi faith space in Orion House but did find an operator interested in utilising the space at Verona House for this purpose. Making this change will thus facilitate timely delivery of these important local facilities. However, we must formally update the existing Planning Permission through the S73 planning process to allow it to happen through changing the approved plans and conditions.

These changes do not affect any other parts of Beam Park, including areas already built or currently under construction. Further, this application will not have any impact on you as a leaseholder or freeholder at Beam Park but planning legislation (Article 13 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015) requires us to notify you by way of a formal notice as set out overleaf. If you have any questions about this letter, please contact the L&Q Communities Team at beamparkenquiries@lqgroup.org.uk

Yours faithfully,
L&Q Communities Team
