Thank you to all those who attended one of our two consultation events on phase two of the proposals for Beam Park.
On Friday 1st December we had Beam Parks Winter Party and Christmas Tree light switch on. Even in the sub-zero temperatures the residents turned up to join.
The event took place in Beam Park Square where over 100 residents gathered for some festive fun and treats. There was a Santa's Grotto where children queued to have a photo with Santa and receive a Christmas gift.
There were Arts & Crafts tables where the children made Christmas tree decorations and other festive decorations and there was festive face painting.
The Juicebox London provided hot drinks and mulled wine and tasty snacks including mince pies and muffins.
To end the evening the children sang Christmas carols around the tree before helping to switch on the Christmas Tree lights.
Christmas gifts were donated from some of our stakeholders. Emmanual Primary School donated children’s books which were given as gifts. 100 selection boxes were donated from a contractor and a fabulous John Lewis food hamper was also donated. The food hamper and two luxury chocolate boxes were given as raffle prizes.
Sigma contributed to the event by providing a photographer for the day and a keyboard vocalist who played a nice mix of Christmas tunes.
The event was a success with residents feeding back how much they enjoyed and thanking for delivering.
Thank you to everyone who attended, we were so pleased to see so many residents there.
And thank you to everyone who helped on the day and supported in the run up.
We are already looking forward to next years' Winter Party!
