Simple Life partnered with one of its residents, James Lomax, founder of mobile escape rooms, Clever Cogz, to launch the ‘Escape with Simple Life’ Roadshow, which included a visit to Newtons Primary School, which is local to Beam Park on Saturday 13 November.
Groups of residents signed up and were tasked with escaping the various themed rooms. During the week, groups of school children from Years 4 – 6 had exclusive access to the exercises, promoting the importance of mental health, wellbeing and team building, as well as having a lot of fun. Participants found themselves in a cargo plane crash adventure, landing in the Amazon rainforest where they searched for the lost temple and collected wellness crystals to escape to safety.
Niamh Waldron, ESG Director at Simple Life, said: “We are acutely aware of the impact the pandemic has had on general health and wellbeing and we were keen to do something for our residents and the local community to support recovery.”
Funded by Simple Life, the mobile escape room is travelled across the country to eight schools throughout November, allowing residents and local schools to experience Clever Cogz.
